FORECAST MUSIC - 2005 CALL FOR SCORES RESULTS
It is with great pleasure that Forecast Music announces the results of our first national Call for Scores. We received 112 scores from all over the United States, Australia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Taiwan. In the end we selected five composers that meet our programming needs:
Daniel Asia: Plum – DS II
Zack Browning: Network Slammer
Jason Eckardt: Flux
Daniel Kessner: Prière et scherzo
Peter Lieuwen: Shadows of Winters Passed
The concert, to be held Friday, December 2, 2005 at 8:30pm in New York City at Christ & St. Stephen's Church, and again on Friday, December 9 at 8:00pm at The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, will feature our flutist Christine Perea performing acoustic and electronic music on flute, alto flute, and bass flute.
